Pollution Risk Management Of Little Testwood Lakes
Three inter-connected man-made lakes at Little Testwood provide water supply to part of Hampshire inSouthern England. Each lake has a dimension of some 400m×200m and a maximum depth of 10m. The first lake receives water from the nearby river. The water then flows to the 2nd lake and then to the 3rd lake via culverts. The water in the 3rd lake is abstracted by pumping to the water treatment works prior to going into the drinking water supply system.
