Application of Operational Modal Analysis to diagnostics of a power train
Over the last years,methods have been developed to identify the modal parameters of a structure excited by ambient conditions. Operational Modal Analysis(OMA)method permits to achieve modal parameters of actual excitation and boundary conditions. The presented case study comprise example of combined using of OMA and Operational Deflection Shape(ODS)of LMS Cada-X for diagnostic purpose in case of a power train(6-cylinder diesel internal combust engine). The example deals with test and measurement,vibration response signal processing and mode decomposition.
