Strain-Controlled Strategy for Shanley Model

摘要：

Strain-controlled strategy is proposed here for elastic-plastic analysis.The numerical example of Shanley Model demonstrates that the strategy is effective. For a designated element, its incremental strain consistent with the constitutive law can be directly given in this strategy. The core of this new strategy is the idea of amplifying the solution by the well-known load-controlled scheme. When the strain-controlled strategy is used, the incremental perturbation method must be adopted to predict exactly yielding or unloading in all elements.
