Synthesis of Multi-junction Carbon Nanotube Structures by A Simple Thermal CVD Method
The creation of two- and three-dimensional junctions of carbon nanotube (CNT) has been considered as the building blocks of nanodevices. The formation of L-junction, Y-junction, and T-junction CNTs has already been reported. These are all two-dimensional and simple junctions. In the present work, we have grown CNTs with multiple-way and three-dimensional junctions using a simple thermal CVD method without the use of any template.
