Processing of Dual-phase Steel on CSP(R) Plants

Whereas the first CSP facility initially only processed low-and medium-carbon steel grades, today the entire product range is covered, including dual-phase steel grades. The first production of dual-phase steel on a CSP plant was in 2003 at ACB in Spain.Target was a DP 600 for automotive applications. By now strengths above 600 MPa in combination with yield point ratios of about 50％ have been reached and a thickness range from 1.6 ? 4.0 mm has been covered.
