Development of the direct current electrically calcined furnace in China

摘要：

The electrically calcined furnace (ECF) for production of calcined anthracite or petroleum can be classified as the alternative current(AC)-ECF and the direct current (DC)- ECF. China has developed AC-ECF into DC-ECF in order to reduce the power consumption of the furnace and to increase the productivity of the furnace. The main technique parameters of DC-ECF, i.e power consumption and productivity are better than that of the domestic and abroad AC-ECF usually used in China. DC-ECF will be a development direction of ECF.
