An Energy Efficient Positioning Algorithm Based on Location Reference Agent for Wireless Sensor Network
In sensor networks,positioning systems are getting to be an important issue because of its usability in many cases.In fact,there is a Global Position system(GPS)widely adopted.However,GPS is impractical in many sensor network cases.This fact derives the needs for relative measurement-based positioning algorithms.Existing relative positioning algorithms have a good result but most of solutions require special capabilities and complex operations.This paper proposes a simple positioning algorithm without the need that sensors are embedded.Our proposal needs an Agent(haring just a GPS module)that allows sensor node can calculate its real coordinates without GPS capability.
