Use of Transesophageai Echocardiography for Hemodynamic Instability during Separation of the Patient from Cardiopulmonary Bypass
sistent or severe hemodynamic instability duringthe perioperative period has many causes, representing a thread to the life of thepatient.Transesophageal echocardiography(TEE)isideally suitedto the assessment of this problem, and evaluation ofhemodynamic instability is one of the most importantindications for its use in the operating room.Inthis review we focus on the discussion of using TEEforhemodynamically instable patients during coming-offcardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).
