A Novel Ranging Detection Algorithm with Interference Cancellation for the IEEE 802.16e System
Ranging scheme has been proposed for power adjustment,timing offset estimation,andinitial uplink synchronization in IEEE 802.16e system.Different users may simultaneously select thesame ranging opportunity and thus bring multi-user interference.In this paper,we proposed amulti.1aser ranging code detection algorithm with interference cancellation.Simulation results showthat the ranging detection algorithm with the interference cancellation approach has much beRersuccessful detection performance both in AWGN and fading channels than the one withoutinterference cancellation.
