A New Preemption policy for Minimize preemption cost for wireless relay networks

In wireless networks,in order to effectively reduce dropping probability,high-priorityhandoff calls are allowed to preempt low-priority ongoing calls when the mobile network becomescongested.In wireless relay model,a Tunnel connection is defmed to support data burst aggregation,witll a coarser QoS processing for relaying data upstream and downstream.In this paper,a newpreemption policy based on relaying data forwarding path is proposed to minimize the preemptioncost.The preemption policy includes four criteria:the priority of preempted ongoing calls,thenumber of preempted ongoing calls,the bandwidth of preempted ongoing calls and the preemptiondegree of preempted ongoing calls.With the simulation,it is obvious that our policy call assure thelesser preemption cost during a new call or a handoff call setup procedure on the whole path.
