Effects of Body Temperature on Pressure Changes Inside Chamber when Using Plethysmography to Measure Lung Function of Mice
Introduction Plethysmography is widely used to assess lung function including tidal volume in rodents. Mitzner and Tankersley pointed out that the pressures generated inside the chamber arise from two sources:gas compression and gas conditioning. Lundblad et al. Testified further that temperature and humidity played the role on pressure inside the chamber.
