The ability to innovate is recognized as an important factor for an industrial organization to stay competitive.The same can be said about a country, both for the ones at the forefront of technology and for the ones in various stages of development.The engineering curriculum, which directly influences the educational experience of engineering graduate who will enter industry in the near future, has recently been examined and redesigned to meet the emphasis on nurturing creativity and providing opportunities for engineering students to engage in innovative activities, be it the approach to build a prototype to meet certain design objectives, or the path to arrive at a solution for a problem that can be highly theoretical in nature.
