硫化镉修饰掺碳的二氧化钛膜光电极

Photocatalysis on semiconducting materials has been an intensive area of research since the pioneering work of Fujishima and Honda TiO<,2> photocatalytice materials are especially attractive for their non-toxic,clean and safe properties as well as their thermal stability and the abundance of the necessary raw materials.In recent years,researchers doped Tio2 withnitrogen carbon,and sulfur attempting to modify its bandgttp so that it can absorb in the visible region of thesolar spectrum.Although this incorporation of substitution atoms improves the visible light absorgtian in Tio2 electrodes,they are not suitable for effecient photoelectrachemical cell application in some cases. Other efforts concerned with band-gapshifting of Tio2 have focused on the sensitiratian of Tio2 photoelectrodes by combining them with nanrrow-bandgapsemiconductor films. Cadmium sulfide is found to be one of the promising materials for solar cells because ofsuitable band-gap. optical absorption,Iong lifetime and easy fabriratian for photoelectrochemircal cell applications. Inthis paper,studied the photoelectrochemical properties CdS nanoparticle modified carbon-tinptrtg nattostructuretiianiutti dioxide(CdS/CD-nsTio2)film electrode on the tluorinc-doped Sno2(FTO)conducting glass.
