Doctoral Students' Perceptions About Hybrid Learning Experiences in Educational Quantitative Research Courses
In the United States,Ed.D.students are required to take quantitative research courses before their qualification exam. However, many students struggle with these courses due to weak statistical background while learning to adapt to the hybrid learning format.A mixed-methods approach was applied to explore how to adjust hybrid teaching and learning based on students' perceptions using basic statistical analysis, qualitative methods, and research design-based approach. The results indicate that students' views and learning outcomes vary longitudinally and probe various strategies to effectively encourage students' learning in the hybrid environment. Also, the results reveal a better understanding of how to engage doctoral students' hybrid learning in the teacher education program.
