Experimental study on shear strength of structural plane based on anisotropic characteristics
A large number of studies have shown that there are anisotropic in the me-chanical properties of rock structural plane. The properties are mainly caused by the roughness of the structural plane. However,it is very difficult to carry out anisotropy test of shear strength of rock structure surface in laboratory because the mechanical test of rock specimen is non-repeatable.In view of this, firstly,we obtain the morpholog-ical data of the rock structural surface by 3D scanning technology. On this basis,we make a batch of structural surface molds with the same morphological characteristics u-sing 3D printing technology.Secondly,we poured a batch of plaster structure speci-mens with the structural surface molds. Finally,we carried out shear mechanical tests in four directions(0°,90°,180°,270°)of the specimens. And in each direction, four different levels of normal force are used in the shear tests. The results show that the shear strength is different in different directions. This study is a new exploration of ani-sotropic shear mechanics test of rock structural plane, and provides a new method for understanding anisotropic mechanical properties of rock structural plane.
