A routine analysis method for two structural types of components in Salvia miltiorrhiza based on QAMS with dual wavelength simultaneous detection
The quality control of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is one of the largest challenges facing clinical practice. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of salvianolic acids and tanshinones is important to the quality control of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.(SM)and its preparations. In this study,a routine analysis method for two structural types of components with dual wavelength simultaneous detection was established.Meanwhile,a simple, reproducible and convenient method for the quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker(QAMS)method has been developed to determine the major components in SM.Salvianolic acid B was chosen as an internal reference. Then, the relative correction factors(RCFs)were calculated for the contents of the other eight components. The method validation was conducted, and the linearity was excellent(r2> 0.9999).As tested by the robustness experiment under certain changeable conditions, the RSDs of the RCFs were below 5.0%.There were differences(0.1-15%)observed between the QAMS and external standard method(EMS),which indicate that this method is suitable for a routine test, which is not strictly required. Therefore, this method could be successfully applied to the routine quality control of SM and its preparations.
