Study on a Novel Channel Flow Control(CFC)Agent for High-temperature and High-salinity Fractured-cave Carbonate Reservoirs

A novel channel flow control(CFC)agent was investigated for the realization of deep water transfer in high-temperature and high-salinity fractured-cave carbonate reservoirs.A novel preparation method was proposed.The temperature resistance,density,suspension,expansibility and conglutinate of CFC agent were evaluated.CFC agent was produced using spheronization method in high temperature with a variety of different density of organic material.The temperature of preparation of CFC agent is 240℃.The particle size can be controlled in the range of 0.5-2 mm.The density of CFC agent can be controlled in the range of 1.05-1.20 g/cm3,which make it have good suspension ability.The CFC agent also has good expansibility and conglutinate ability.The CFC agent has achieved expansion of 1-3 times by adjusting the ratio of composition.Multiple particles can stick to each other to form a barrier to plug dominate flow channel.
