Experimental Research on the Mechanism of Emulsification Viscosity Reducer for Enhancing Heavy Oil Recovery

Aiming at the problem of large viscosity and difficulty in Chenjiazhuang heavy oil production in Shengli Oilfield,the interfacial tension and oil displacement effect of anionic and nonionic emulsion viscosity-reducing agent are compared.The microscopic visualization displacement characteristics of anionic and non-ionic emulsified viscosity reducer system(SS+SF)were studied.The research shows that(SS+SF)has superior to the single component emulsifying viscosity reducing agent's interfacial activity and en-hances the recovery ability,the use concentration quality is 0.4%,the interfacial tension achieves 1 X 10-4 mN/m,compared with the SF emulsifying viscosity reducing agent enhances the recovery rate 14.9%.The emulsion viscosity reducing agent in the microscopic experiment shows the formation of a clear oil and emulsion separation zone.This experimental study provides experimental basis for further developing viscous oil viscosity reduction.
