Aerial Application Technology and Remote Sensing for Developing Sustainable Agriculture
Sustainable agriculture relies on consistent agricultural productivity and environmental conservation at the same time.Precision agriculture is critical for developing sustainable agriculture.Precision agriculture has been modernized from strategic monitoring operations in the 1980s to tactical monitoring and control operations in the 2010s and is advancing into the stage of smart agriculture with high intelligence and automation.This paper overviews the general situation of aerial application and remote sensing research and applications in the united states and discusses some important aspects for further development and practices for advancing research and development in the next ten years.
