Investigating pyrolysis characteristics of moso bamboo through TG-FTIR and Py-GC/MS
This study was carried out to investigatc pyrolysis characteristics of moso bamboo(Phyllostachys pubescens),including outer layer(OB),middle layer(MB)and inner layer(IB)and bamboo leaves(BL),through TG-FTIR and Py-GC/MS.The results showed that the pyrolysis process of IB,OB,MB and BL were mainly divided into three stages of drying,rapid pyrolysis and slow pyrolysis.With the increase of the heating rate,the pyrolysis process shifted toward higher temperature.IB,OB,MB and BL had a different activation energy at different conversion rates,and BL were the most difficult to pyrolysis.Even though there were mainly 6 families of compounds,including aldehyde,furan,phehol,ketone,ester,alcohol and acid,product distribution of each sample was different.The main pyrolysis products included H2O,CH4,CO2,CO,carboxylic acids,NO,NO2 and phenol and the products of BL were significantly lowest than IB,OB,MB.
