Strain Softening Model of Rock after Post-peak Strength with Confining Pressure
It is a key issue to model the effect of confining pressure on strain softening of post-peak strength rock.In this paper the degradation index of post-peak strength is adopted to model the effect of the confining pressure on the pest-peak strength.Then ideal elastic-plactic mechanical theory is used to establish the strain softening model of rock with combining stress.Thirdly the model is implemented in FLAC.Lastly a case is studied,and the results show that the model in this paper is effective method to model the strain softening processes of post-peak strength rock.
