How Far are Chinas Top University Research Level from World-class University--Empirical Analysis Based on the Evaluation Results of 2012 World-class Universities and Chinese Universities
The global concerning about world university rankings prompted China to accelerate the pace of building world-class university,while in the process,it was found that this road was not so flat and smooth unlike people s original envision,perhaps we should slow down to reflect on what the problem is and how the ptoblem happens,World University Rankings have become influential,and have affectted on the development of national higher education in strateg(le) decision-making all over the world.The layout of world university rankings,without exception,treat university research as the core indicator,thus world university rankings on research evaluation is prompting a strong reaction of international community.At the same time,we need to calm down to look at World University Rankings of scientific research evaluation.
