Bone Mesenchymal Stem Cells Transplantation and Exercise-induced Spinal Cord Injury
Exercise-induced spinal cord injury is further led by the spinal injury, resulting from head and neck or spines collision on the ground or other objects due to the improper protection or technical movements in the movement. Generally, spinal cord injury is serious which not only affects the improvement of athletes but also has an important impact on their normal life. Moreover, the injury is mostly irreversible so as to have a huge burden to the patients and their families. As the proposal of stem cells technology, applying it into spinal cord injury and the effect of repairing nerve damage is gradually recognized by the world. This paper aims to explore the application bone mesenchymal stem cells transplantation in the exercise-induced spinal cord injury through the analyses of the role of bone mesenchymal stem cells and its application in spinal cord injury, in order to provide a scientific and theoretical basis for its rehabilitation. The study shows that the characteristic of bone mesenchymal stem cells could lay a solid foundation for the rehabilitation of spinal cord injury, and the effect of applying the technology of bone mesenchymal stem cells transplantation into the rehabilitation of exercise-induced spinal cord injury is worthy of affirmation. However, due to the lack of researches on bone mesenchymal-stem cells transplantation resulting from exercise-induced spinal cord injury until now, the mechanism of applying stem cells technology into its rehabilitation is not clear.
