Mineral Content of Hemarthria compressa at Varying Fertility Levels
Introduction: H. compressa is a warm season stoloniferous perennial grass which is very popular in southwest China for pasture and forage production. Few study focused on mineral content of H. compressa and the relationship between soil fertility levels. The objectives of this study were to determine the effect of various levels of N, P, K on mineral content during production period, and compare with the Nutrient Requirements of Dairy Cattle (2001) established by National Research Council (NRC).
