Changes in Agricultural Land-use Structure in Zhifanggou Watershed over the Last 70 Years
Zhifanggou Watershed is a typical area in the Loess Plateau region, so it has realistic significance to conduct research on the changes in land-use structure in this watershed. Over the last 70 years, vegetation cover in this watershed has undergone a process of breakage, recovery, destruction and rebuilding. And agricultural land-use structure, in terms of farmland, woodland and grassland, also has changed acutely, but now it is going to be rational. The major driving force that begot this change was farmers needs. In the whole process, natural resources were the basis of power transmission. The input of Science and technology was the impetus. State policy was the synthesis of braking force and impetus. The strength that natural resources, science and technology, and state policy performed was quite different at different stages. At present land-use structure and its function are not consistent, but the rational utilization of agricultural resources would be carried out depending on the continuous agricultural innovation and industrial optimization and upgrading.
