Study on Effective Elastic Thickness of Longmenshan Fault Zone after the Wenchuan Earthquake

After the Wenchuan Earthquake, the lithosphere structure of the Longmenshan fault zone was inevitable influenced by the earthquake. According to the interpretation of the topographic elevation and the gravity data of two line acrossing Longmenshan frault zone, we can research effective elastic thickness of the lithosphere and the flexure of the Mono. Finally we got that the effective elastic thickness of the northern Longmenshan fault is between 25 and 40km, and around the earthquake zone in the south, the effective elastic thickness was obviously thicker to between 35 and 70km.Bounded by the Longmenshan fault, the effective elastic thickness of the Tibetan Plateau in the west is smaller than the Sichuan Basin in the east.
