This paper was to probe the mental health of some migrant women as well as its connections with social support and personality features. We took a survey among 1097 migrant population in Jiangsu Province by employing SCL-90, EPQ and SSRS. The results of descriptive statistics and variance analysis indicate that migrant women outscore migrant men in terms of SCL-90, somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety and phobia factor;migrant women score lower than men in terms of social support and objective support;migrant women outscore men in terms of neuroticism and concealment;but score lower than men in terms of psychoticism, Regression analysis suggests that subjective support, neuroticism, utilization of support have connections with migrant womens mental health. Mental health level of migrant women is inferior to that of migrant men. Personality features and social supports are interrelated with mental health level.
