The Preparation of Mesoporous Silica Inorganic Antibacterial Material and Its Application on Cotton Fabrics
The mesoporous SiO2 was modified with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES) via post-synthesis silylation methods. Then dip the powder into the AgNO3 solution and the antibacterial agent was produced. The mesoporous structure was indicated by x-ray diffraction,and the amino group inside the channel was identified by IR,and the thermal stability of antibacterial agent was shown by TG Then the antibacterial material was applied on the cotton fabric. The result of antibacterial test showed that the antibacterial property of the cotton fabric treated with antibacterial agent was great.
