Analysis on Socioeconomic Driving Forces of Grassland Degradation in the Northwest of Sichuan Province
Based on the analyses of grassland degradation situation in the northwest prefecture of Sichuan province, the socioeconomic influencing factors model of grassland degradation was established using principle and method of factor analysis and grey incidence analysis. Combined with the actual situation of the sample countries, this paper studied the main socioeconomic driving factors and the size of influencing forces. The result showed that main socioeconomic driving forces of grassland degradation were the number of livestock, population, industrial structure, and implementation of protecting grasslands policies, enclosure grassland areas and annual net income per capita in pasture. On this basis, the strategies and measures were hold up to prevent grasslands further degradation from four aspects.
