An Improved AOMDV Routing Protocol Based on Prediction of Link Stability

摘要：

The node mobility and limited energy are two main factors affecting the link stability in mobile ad hoc networks. This paper proposed an advanced routing protocol PLS-AOMDV (Prediction of Link StabilityAOMDV) based on AOMDV multi-path routing protocol, which periodically predicts link stability by taking both node mobility and energy consumption into consideration so as to choose the highest stability link to transmit data. The simulation results show that PLS-AOMDV can increase the packet delivery rate and the lifetime of the network evidently.
