A Novel Stitching Algorithm for The Images with Overlap Region

摘要：

The paper proposes a novel fusion algorithm for the overlap image. It can be applied to the two images stitching with the overlap region. If the two images have the overlapped region and will stitch together, we first need to judge the overlap region. The paper uses the distance determination method to judge the overlap region. To fuse the overlap sub-images, we introduce the wavelet transform based normalized Mask algorithm. The wavelet transform based normalized Mask algorithm can combine the each decomposition coefficients in different level. The experiment shows this algorithm can well reach the stitching of two images with overlap region.
