A Statistical MIMO Channel Model with Space-polarization Diversity

摘要：

Based on modifying and combining traditional multiinput multi-output (MIMO) channel models of spacediversity and polarization-diversity, a spacepolarization diversity statistical MIMO channel model, which comprises a covariance matrix and a cross-polar discriminations (XPD) matrix, is proposed in this paper. Angle projection is also applied in order to extend this model to any polarization diversity. Simulation results show that this model, for which space-diversity and polarization-diversity channel models are regard as special cases, works well on various space-polarization diversity conditions.
