DECOUPLING DESIGN OF ROLLING AIRCRAFT BASED ON PSEUDO DIAGONALIZATION METHOD USING PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION

The decoupling control design problem of rolling aircraft is studied in this paper. On the ground of the concept of the diagonal dominance, a pseudo diagonalization method based on an evolutionary algorithm is proposed In this method the design problem of the diagonalization compensation matrix is transfered into an optimization problem under constraints and then the problem is solved using the improved particle swarm algorithm. By doing this, the limitation which is caused by the singularity of system transfer function matrix in the traditional matrix inverse method is avoided. Finally, decoupling control design is done wife this method on a rolling aircraft testing example, in which the steady-state coupling between the longitudinal channel and lateral channel of the rolling aircraft is eliminated, and result approves the validity of the method.
