Studies on Deformation Monitoring Data of Dong Qing CFRD during Construction Period
sand-mudstone is used as damming material in full section for Dong Qing CFRD.It is the first time for a CFRD designed without partition of main rockfill zone and 3C rockfill zone. To obtain the deformation information in the dam body,some monitoring instruments,such as electric hydraulic overflow settlement gauge,electric horizontal displacement gauge of tensional wire,were used to detect the dam deformation in the entire process,deformation of the dam body were detected completely and accurately. Through analysis on the detected results and research on the rules of deformation in the dam body constructed with sand-mudstone,it is considered that 35% maxmium percentage of mudstone in the sandmudstone damming material can be used in 150 m high concrete faced rockfill dam and meet all design standard. The detection and research on deformation of concrete faced rockfill dam of Dong Qing hydropower project could provides references for later design and construction of concrete faced rockfill dams.
