FATIGUE RESEARCH ON T-BEAM WITH RANDOM VEHICLE LOADING SPECTRUM

Based on the random vehicle loading spectrum and finite element method, this paper analyses the displacements and the fatigue performances in the tensile region of simply supported concrete T-beams, which are reinforced by the prestressed CFRP sheets. And it is showed that under the random vehicle spectrum the stresses decrease after the T-beam has been reinforced by the prestressed CFRP sheets; the fatigue life of T-beams has doubled to 2×107 compared with that before the reinforcement.
