Tailings Dam Risk Analysis Model Based on Blind Data Theory
Uncertainty information such as random, fuzzy, gray, unsure message widely ex-ists in the geotechnical engineering. Due to the complexity of the practical situation and defi-ciency of experiment data, calculation parameters are usually the mixture of multi uncertain-ties. Against this character, using the blind data to express the uncertainty of the calculationparameters, the theory of blind information is applied to the rigid limiting equilibrium meth-od for Tailings Dam stability; and a new method of computing safety factor has been put for-ward. The corresponding confidence level of safety factor in different numerical value inter-vals is computed by use of blind data algorithms; consequently the more comprehensive re-sult is provided to judge the stability state of railings dam, overcoming the defect of absolute-ly definitive description in the traditional methods. The case study indicates that the blind da-ta can consider the practical situation better in the tailings dam stability analysis; and the re-sult is more detailed and reliable, having good practical values.
