Economic Analysis on Clean Development Mechanism of Wind Farm Project in the Eastern Coast of China
In this paper, the project of wind farm is used as a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) case to reveal the mitigation cost per unit CO2. This investigation is based on baseline and incremental cost analysis. Moreover, a sensitivity analysis and CERs benefit analysis are also carried out. The results show that with the capacity of 30MW project, the mitigation cost per unit CO2 is 22.43 $/tCO2e, and the emission reduction of CO2 per year is 64,562t. The establishment and operation of the proposed project activicity will promote the wind farm technology and utilization in the eastern coast of China. It can also achieve the greenhouse gas emission reductions and promote the sustainable development in the local areas.
