Blind Channel Identification Using Linear Composition Subspace Method
The Least-squares (LS) and the Subspace (SS) methods are two well-known approaches for identifying blind channel. However, they are not guaranteed identifying blind channel in current order, because their performances are held in exact knowledge of the channel order. In this paper, we use standard SS/LS method to identify truth channel response when the channel is overestimated, and the true channel can be determined properly, and the true channel can be spanned by the solutions that is derived non-unique. The proposed algorithm is shown to has more improvement than existing algorithm in performance and robustness with respect to over-modeling in simulations.
