Research on the Effects of the Powder-coated Aggregate on RCC Properties
Tests have been carried out on the characteristics of the surface coating powder of the aggregates used in Longtan Hydropower Project and the results show that the surface powder coating of the course aggregate of the crushed limestone being used in Longtan project have minor influence on the RCC is mechanical properties, such as the compressive strength and the ultimate tensile value, and have little influence on RCC properties of seepage resistance and frost resistance Every property parameter of RCC is conformed with the design specification.
