Experimental investigation on drag reduction of vessel model by micro bubbles
Two pieces of perforated silicon plate is used to create micro bubbles for a big scaling ship model, under three different draft conditions, three kinds of jet form are adopted, which are bow position jet, middle position jet, and jet both at bow and middle position on ship model. With the test at five different tow velocity and flow capacity of jet, the influence effect of resistance reduction rate have been evaluated and the results presented.
