Dynamic Simulation and Experiment on Electromagnetic Repulsion Mechanism for Hybrid DC Circuit Breaker
In order to improve performances of DC breakers, the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism for hybrid DC circuit breaker is researched in this paper.The dynamic model of electromagnetic repulsion mechanism is built based on the finite element method, and the opening process of model is simulated, the opening time is 4.97ms.The experimental prototype is developed according to simulative results, and the experiment is carried on the developed prototype, the responsive time and opening time of experimental prototype are 0.97ms and 5.18ms respectively.Analytic result indicates that simulative results agree with experimental data well, which verifies the veracity of simulative model and rationality of developed prototype.
