Simulation Of Marangoni Convection In Gas-liquid Interfacial Mass Transfer By Lattice Boltzmann Method
The Marangoni effect has been observed in many gas-liquid and liquid-liquid mass transfer processes.In this paper,an approach based on Lattice Boltzmann method was developed and two simulation models were proposed to investigate the Marangoni convection for gas-liquid mass transfer process:fixed perturbation model and self-renewable interface model.Finally,the mass transfer enhancement of Marangoni effect was discussed.The simulation results show that the concentration contours are well consistent with the typical roll cell convection patterns obtained experimentally in previous studies.
