On the Unified Theme of Hemingways In Our Time from the Perspective of Trauma Theory
Hemingway is a famous American writer in the 20th Century.Many of his works are well received by the world and studied by many scholars.In 1925,his collection In Our Time was published,including 16 vignettes and 15 short stories.This article selects some short stories and vignettes from In Our Time to reveal the unified theme of violence and trauma caused by his personal experience from the perspective of psychological trauma theory.The interpretation is expected to help get insight into the theme unity of this collection,and provide a better understanding of the writers pain and trauma brought by war.
