Fabrication and Characterization of Composited Tubes Filled by Open-cell 316L Foam
In this paper,3D open-cell 316L foam is filled in dense stainless-steel tube through integrated sintering.The effect of sintering temperature from 950℃ to 1300℃ on the microstructure of 3D open-cell 316L foam is investigated.More importantly,316L foam sandwiched tubes prepared by integrated molding process,the bonding between foam and dense tube is metallurgical integration.Air permeability test shows that pressure drop sharply decreases when cell diameter increases from 0.5mm to 1mm,and pressure drop decreases along with the increasing cell diameter while not obvious when cell diameter is larger than 1mm.
