Effect of Heating Rate on Phase Structure and Magnetic Properties of Sintered NiFe2O4
NiFe2O4 prepared by spark plasma sintering(SPS)and the effects of heating rate on its microstructure and magnetic properties were systematically studied. The results demonstrated that, during 30 ℃/min to 60 ℃/min,the density of the sintered compacts increased gradually, but when the heating rate continued to rise to 100 ℃/min,the densification increased very slowly and even tended to be stable. At the same time, saturation magnetization Ms increased from 45.21 emu/g to 71.87 emu/g and the coercive force Hc decreased from 102 Oe to about 44 Oe due to the increase of heating rate.
