Research on Wear Resistance of Sintered Metal Oil-impregnated Bearings
Wear resistance is one of the important properties for sintered metal oil-impregnated bearing.It has a crucial impact on the using condition and service life.The main measures to improve the wear resistance of oil-impregnated bearing are the optimization of material composition and the selection of lubricating oil.For example,increasing the wear-resistant phase,adding useful alloying elements and using rare earth oxides.In addition,optimizating the preparation process,for example,the use of a suitable sintering atmosphere and strictly control of the forming process parameters,sintering temperature and holding time.
