Recent Innovations on Cold Axial Die Compaction Technologies

　　The PM industry is on a constant search for more complex,more accurate,price-competitive shapes.Through continuous developments on process technology and production equipment,cold axial die compacting remains a competitive forming method against other approaches,such as injection moulding or additive manufacturing.The use of high-accurate,high-efficient alternatives to traditional hydraulic units,more compact equipment with lower installation and operative costs,radial compacting and split-die systems,forming of threads and helical profiles are some of the most relevant innovations.
