Research of Sintering Processes of MIM High Nitrogen Stainless Steel Products
High nitrogen stainless steel have been drawing great research interest of scientists and engineers due to their significantly better mechanical properties,non-magnetic,obvious cost advantages and even no nickel allergy problem compared with the traditional stainless steel.However,MIM high nitrogen stainless steel products havent been used widely cause of the unstable sintering processes.Here,we researched the effect of process parameter,product thickness etc.on the nitrogen content and on the properties of Fe17Cr11Mn3Mo.The applicable sintering processes suiting for different products were developed to meet required properties.We anticipated that high strength and high stability MIM high nitrogen stainless steel will be a good choice for more industrial utilities.
