Effect of Copper Powder on the Properties of Iron-based Powder Metallurgy Sintered Products
The application of iron-based powder metallurgy products is more and more extensive,and more and more attention has been paid to the improvement of their properties.In order to study how to improve the performance of iron-based powder metallurgy products,a certain amount of 200 mesh copper powder was added to the 100 mesh atomized iron powder to make the mixed powder,and the mixed powder was pressed and sintered to obtain the sintered sample with different proportions.The properties of the sintered product were tested.The results show that the addition of copper powder can improve the hardness of powder metallurgy iron-based sintered body,and within a certain range,the hardness of the sintered body increases with the increase of copper powder content.With the increase of copper powder content,the tensile strength of the sintered sample increases greatly,and the tensile strength value of the sintered sample with 1%copper powder is more prominent.Through the analysis of experimental data,it is concluded that the addition of copper powder can improve the performance of the parts,and the best addition ratio is 1%.
