Assimilative Fusion or Pluralistic Integration: Study on Ethnic Identity and Ethnic Consciousness of Ethnic Minorities in Urban Areas

摘要：

　　The empirical research shows that, the urban ethnic assimilation is not a one-way process, but a two-way and even multi-dimensional construction process. The minoritys willingness for fusion, the exclusion behavior, and the social, cultural and economic environments together contribute to the construction of urban ethnic groups, ethnic sub-structure formation, with the enhanced ethnic group boundary and the clear ethnic identity and consciousness.
